Jeffrey C. Grush, 68, of Sterling, VA, formerly of Latrobe, PA, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 in the Potomac Falls Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 19, 1949 in Latrobe, a son of the late Millard C. and Kathryn (Langley) Grush.
Jeff graduated from Latrobe High School in 1967 and was a veteran of the US Army having served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. Jeff was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and worked as a manager for several restaurant chains over the years. He enjoyed his beloved canine pets and his family and friends knew him as a fun loving person.
Jeff is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Jane F. (Czekanski) Grush, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, and two brothers, Larry L. Grush and his wife Nancy of Winston-Salem, NC, and Raymond C. Grush and his wife Ann of Cary, NC, a number of nieces and nephews, and long-time friends, Bob and Jamie Stallard of Murrysville, PA.
Friends will be received from 10 until 11 AM Monday, January 22nd in the Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home, Inc., 1500 Ligonier Street, Latrobe. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment with full military honors accorded by the VFW Post 33 Honor Guard will follow in Unity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
