Marla J. Carnahan, of Latrobe, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was born in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Toth) Carnahan.
Marla was a graduate of Latrobe High School, as well as the Greensburg Business School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Kennametal, Inc. in Latrobe. She was a member of the Latrobe United Methodist Church, the Deborah-Rachel Circle, and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of The Daughters of Job and volunteered at Latrobe Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Sue. She is survived by her sister, Judith Zubal of Unity Township; her niece, Mary Beth Graham (Brad); her nephews, Stuart Graham and Paul Graham (Jennifer); her great niece, Carmella Stamm; her great nephews, Bradley Douglas Jr., Nathan Graham, and Alexander Graham; and a special cousin, Mitzi Lewis.
Honoring Marla’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. All are welcome to a funeral service on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11AM in Unity Chapel, 114 Chapel Lane, Latrobe, PA 15650 with Pastor Chris Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
