Judith “Judy” Ann Murphy Miller, 72, of Latrobe, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born January 22, 1947 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Helen (Sandacz) Murphy.
Prior to her retirement, Judy was employed by Carborundum. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #515, the Tri State Country Music Association Chapter #16 in Belsano, PA, and the St. Anthony Society Auxiliary, where she was a past president. Her favorite pastimes included bingo, fishing, playing cards, and the Trouble Game.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her son Scott Murphy and his wife Lisa Simms Murphy; her grandson, Steven Murphy; her foster son, James Harris; her step grandson, Brandon Simms; her brother, James Murphy Sr. and his wife Patricia; and her sister, Jane Murphy McBryar and her daughter Deborah McBryar. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Randy C. Miller; her sister, Joanne Murphy Gaul of Derry and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday from 4-7PM in the Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home, Inc., 1500 Ligonier Street, Latrobe. Members of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #515 will hold a service at 4PM on Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
